My work focuses on the interactions between public policy and corporate strategy in areas such as international trade.
Markets provide a powerful means of promoting innovation and diffusing new technologies. But with private interests become more entangled with the provision of public goods, new mechanisms are required to ensure transparency and accountability.
Defining the roles of state and market actors will be essential to ensure that resources are deployed in an efficient and socially beneficial manner, and to encourage private innovation that takes into account the public good.
